Golden Oldies Fellowship Group for Retired Members

Christ the King saw a need for a special program geared to the retired members. A member who homeschooled her children saw this as an opportunity to teach her children about the needs and benefits of giving back to their church and started a group geared to the retired members that included a short vesper communion service followed by a lunch, fellowship, card playing, etc. The group was given the opportunity to name themselves, thus the name of “Golden Oldies” was born. Each gathering includes a short vesper communion service in the sanctuary followed by a themed lunch and fellowship in Fellowship Hall.

Anyone retired or nearing retirement age is welcome to attend.
