Senior Youth Group of Christ the King Lutheran Church

The Senior Youth Group meets during the summer months for various activities, including visiting other cities, playing putt-putt, having a picnic and bible study on top of Coronado Heights, and helping with Saturdays of Service.

Some of the highlights of the Senior Youth Group include attending the Kansas District Youth Gathering each November, where youth from across the state of Kansas gather for a weekend of bible study, keynote speakers, entertainment, and fellowship.

Every three years, there is a national LCMS Youth Gathering. The 2022 LCMS Youth Gathering was held in Houston, Texas, and the 2025 gathering will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana. The LCMS Youth Gathering provides thousands of youths and adults the opportunity to come together as a community of God’s people to be encouraged in their walk with Jesus Christ and learn about the Christian faith and their Lutheran identity.

The Senior Youth Group is open to all members of Christ the King in grades 9–12.
