LCMS Parish Nurse Ministry – CTK Cares Committee

The LCMS Parish Nurse Ministry helps congregations care for one another by attaining, maintaining, and or/regaining the best possible whole persons health – wellness of body, mind, and spirit that can be experienced. The parish nurse is a registered nurse who is committed to the concept of health ministry.

At Christ the King, the parish nurse is part of the CTK Cares Committee.

Services and Activities

  • Host educational sessions on different wellness programs available
  • Purchased and install an AED Machine and putting the machine on the local first responders list
  • Conduct blood pressure checks the first Sunday of the month after each service
